Community Service

Each NCL, Inc. Chapter promotes social awareness by considering the local community’s needs and selecting appropriate non-profit organizations to serve.  Each Chapter then supports its philanthropic service partners through different volunteer activities.

The Yorba Linda Chapter is proud to support 23 charities that are local, regional, and national in scope. These partnerships grow and change over the years, but currently include:

♦ American Cancer Society ♦ American Diabetes ♦ American Red Cross ♦ Anaheim Performing Arts ♦ Binky Patrol ♦ Boys Town of California ♦ Canyon Acres/Kinship Services ♦ Crittenton Services ♦ Cystic Fibrosis Foundation ♦ Grandma’s House of Hope ♦ Helping Hearts 4 Friends Foundation ♦ Higher Ground ♦ Meals on Wheels (MOW) ♦ Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) ♦ Patriots & Paws ♦ Ronald McDonald House ♦ Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County ♦ Shauna Stuewe Foundation ♦ Support for Troops ♦ With Hope Foundation ♦ Women’s Transitional Living Center (WTLC) ♦ Yorba Linda Community Center/Senior Center ♦ Yorba Linda/Placentia Libraries

Ticktockers and Patronesses each volunteer 25 hours per year at various charities and charity events, in addition to attending regular monthly meetings throughout the year.   Recognition and awards are given for girls and their volunteerism with local charities.  Mother/daughter awards are also given in recognition of work together.
